Beaver Hill Road Closure Begins Sept. 28

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Chelan County Public Works will close Chumstick Highway at Beaver Hill near Plain from Sept. 28 for about three weeks to build a retaining wall following a landslide that occurred this past winter.

The closure will require motorists to use detour routes on either side of the work zone. The project, originally scheduled for August, was delayed due to concerns about the Little Giant Fire. The $790,000 project includes extending an existing retaining wall by 150 feet and stabilizing nearby slopes with fill and new guardrail.
