Multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects will begin affecting Wenatchee-area highways starting late Thursday night through early Friday morning.
I-405 will close two southbound lanes from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast from 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4. I-5 will reduce to a single lane nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) through Sept. 4. Both projects are part of fish passage construction and utility work projects.
WSDOT notes that traffic control measures including flaggers and signed detours will be in place during the closures. The agency encourages drivers to allow extra travel time and to be prepared for delays.
