WSDOT announced multiple highway and road closures in the Wenatchee area starting this week. The most notable changes include a two-lane southbound I-405 closure from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast (milepost 10) from 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4. A three-lane northbound I-405 closure will run from 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 100th Street.
I-5 will see nightly single-lane reductions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on I-5 near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) from Monday, Aug. 31 through Friday, Sept. 4, and a left-lane closure north of North Lake Samish (exit 246) from Sunday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 4. State Route 4 will have a single lane closed both directions between 50th and 42nd Avenues weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Sept. 11. The right lane of State Route 99 will close from 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31 to Tuesday, Sept. 1 for utilities work.
