WSDOT announced multiple highway closures and lane restrictions affecting Wenatchee and surrounding areas. The most immediate change begins Friday, August 28, when up to three lanes of northbound I-405 will close from Northeast 85th Street to Northeast 100th Street from 11 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, August 31.
Additional closures include a southbound I-405 lane restriction from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast (milepost 10) overnight on September 3-4, and the southbound I-405 HOV ramp to SR 167 closing overnight from August 31 to September 2. State Route 20 will continue alternating traffic with flaggers from Swin Slough Bridge to Laconner Whitney Road through September. SR-124 will be closed between Bolles Road and Coppei Ave from August 24 through September 18 for environmental remediation work.
