Quincy has selected Joe Harris as its new city administrator, filling a position that had been vacant since February.

The city said Harris will take over leadership of city operations, including budget management and department oversight. Harris previously served as a city manager in another Washington community.

The selection follows a search process that began in May, with Harris being chosen from a pool of candidates. The city council approved his appointment on July 30, 2026.
