WSDOT has scheduled paving work on US 2 in Wenatchee and Chumstick Highway starting Sept. 8. The US 2 project near Wenatchee will close a right lane from milepost 118 to 119 on Sept. 9 from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A separate US 2 project south of Orondo will close a section from milepost 137-139 on Sept. 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Chumstick Highway between US 2 and SR 207 will have single-lane closures Mondays through Fridays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting Sept. 8 until Sept. 25. Crews will repair and repave the 19-mile stretch, requiring pilot cars and flaggers. Drivers should expect slowdowns and delays during work hours.
