US 2, Chumstick Highway work to continue through September

WSDOT has announced single-lane closures on US 2 west of Cashmere and Chumstick Highway through mid-September.

Crews will pave US 2 from milepost 105 to 109, causing single-lane closures both directions Mondays through Thursdays 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. until mid-to-late September. Dryden Ave., Alice Ave., and Saunders Rd. will close Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 9-11. On Chumstick Highway, repairs and repaving will cause slowdowns Mondays through Fridays 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Sept. 8 through Sept. 25.

The Vantage Bridge on I-82 and SR 281 has ongoing 9-foot width restrictions 24/7, effective since October 2025.
