Wenatchee Ballot Measure Committees Sought

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Chelan County Auditor is seeking citizens to serve on 'For' and 'Against' committees for two local ballot measures appearing in the November 3, 2026 General Election Local Voters' Pamphlet.

The City of Cashmere needs a 'For' committee for Proposition No. 1, a Public Safety and Government Services Levy Lid Lift. The Wenatchee School District No. 246 needs an 'Against' committee for Proposition No. 1, which seeks bonds to replace Wenatchee High School and improve school air quality districtwide.

Committee members must be district residents and submit their arguments by August 14, 2026. The County Auditor will step in if districts fail to appoint committees.
