WSDOT: Nightly Road Closures for Repairs, Paving

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Nightly closures for bridge repairs, paving, and fish passage construction are scheduled across Wenatchee-area highways through Aug. 20.

WSDOT will close a single lane of US 12 over I-5 nightly from Aug. 10 to Aug. 20 for bridge repairs. Travelers must follow a detour using northbound I-5 to Exit 71, then southbound on SR 508 to US 12. I-5 will see southbound lane closures nightly from Aug. 16 to 18 and Aug. 18 to 20 for paving and maintenance. I-405 will have southbound lane closures nightly from Aug. 17 to 19 and Aug. 17 to 21. SR 9 will remain closed until 6 a.m. Aug. 19 for fish passage installation, with detours using SR 534, I-5 and SR 538/College Way.

Drivers should expect delays, slow down, and follow detour signs. The closures are part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance and environmental projects.
